Baby Alexandro was born on 3 August 2008 at 15:53. We had a water birth at Linkwood Clinic and everything went perfect. It was an amazing experience. He weighed 3.35kg and was 47cm in length. We stayed just 1 night and came home the following morning.

We got to Linkwood about 4 hours before Alexandro was born. From left: Karen, My Midwife helping me through a contraction; George filling the birth pool; My mom & I; Getting into the pool; ....My mom, George & Elena helping me through the final contractions...

 

What a relief!! Finally we had our precious baby boy! It was the most amazing feeling in the world.

 

All these photo's were taken at the hospital just after the birth. Aunty Dom dressed me for the first time and everyone came to see me. Daddy stayed over with us that night and I slept in the bed with them. We went home the next day.
